Annual Luncheon

Our signature fundraising event — the Keys Children’s Foundation Luncheon — is held every January and features an inspiring Keynote Speaker who shares our commitment to improving the lives and circumstances of children in need. Now, more than ever, our causes require continued support as we navigate new and evolving challenges brought on by the lasting effects of the pandemic.

Stay Tuned For Next Year’s Luncheon

Behind them, a black curtain and an American flag are visible. In the foreground, seated elderly guests are watching the scene, with tables set for a meal and decorated with floral centerpieces and iced tea.

Keys Children’s Foundation Speakers Over The Years

This year we had Jimmy Wayne is a former foster child turned award-winning country recording-artist whose songs and story highlight his mission to raise awareness for children in foster care.

Jimmy has shared his story — The Power of One — around the world as a keynote speaker. He lives in Nashville and continues to work tirelessly on behalf of at-risk foster youth, for which he has been recognized with honors and awards.

Like the beginning of our organization when some Ocean Reef members saw a need for The Florida Keys Children’s Shelter to be built and took action, Jimmy Wayne has passionately worked to create positive change in the lives of children in foster care who need permanent families.

Visit our Grantees

Once or twice per year we organize a trip to visit several of our grantees to find out more about the programs that we support. If you would like to be a part of this (adjective) event, please send an email to thekeyschildrensfoundation@gmail.com and mention your interest in this trip.
